    It was a pleasure meeting with three powerful female lawmakers from Liberia, Rep. Rugie Barry( District 1, Monsterrado), Rep Priscilla Cooper ( District 5, Monsterrado) and Rep Julie Wiah( District 2, Lofa County)

    We had fruitful discussions with the Global Health Departments at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania Hospital regarding the improvement of the healthcare system in Liberia.

  • Presentation

    LMM was invited to the City hall of Philadelphia to do a presention on the just ended mission to Liberia. Thanks Drs Simmons, Major, Co-Chair Ms ROBERTA Williams, Foumba Toure, Ben Weefaa and Abu Sackor for their presence at the city hall.

  • Conference

    Thanks to all our providers, nurses, and support staff that joined the conference call last night from Atlanta, Pennsylvania, Missouri, California, Maryland, Florida, Minnesota, Washington, DC, and New York. Thanks to our local coordinating committee members in Liberia ( Ms Clara Mcintosh, Sekou B. Korleh, Abraham Sesay, Yvonne Ammar Boyd, Mohamed Kromah, Sherie Shour and Kaliefah Sackor) for preparing the ground for the mission.

    YES! when it comes to helping Liberia, Liberia Medical Mission is always ready to do its part.

  • Meeting

    The President of Liberia, His Excellency, Joseph Nyuma Boakai invited Liberia Medical Mission, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Americares, and Boston Children's Hospital for a consultative meeting regarding the improvement of the healthcare system and potential Children's Hospital in Liberia. It was a productive meeting and we are committed to helping our beloved country, Liberia.

    Thank you, President Boakai and Ministers Mamaka Bility and Dr Louise Kpoto for putting this together.

  • Supplies and Equipment

    es! We did it! Two 40-ft containers fully loaded with needed medical supplies and equipment are headed to Mama Liberia. These images speak to the level of commitment and support from members of the community. Thanks for your unflinching support!

    Thanks to all of you who volunteered their time, brought food stuffs and donated supplies and money. I was touched by some members of LMM who cashapped us money from California, South Carolina, Texas and Pennsylvania to buy food and drinks for volunteers.

    We are at our best when we work together for the common good of Liberia.

    May God richly reward all of you.
